Frequently Asked Questions

Has your work been published?

Yes! My weddings have been published in countless wedding blogs & magazines- what an honor! And I shoot for every wedding to make it in a publication. All my clients are magazine worthy!

Do you have a second shooter at weddings?

Of course! I would not want to miss one magical moment on your wedding day. There is so much to take in and capture,

Do you travel?

Oh yes! I love to go to new places (& old!). Let’s talk about where we are going for your special day.

How does booking with you work?

After you submit your information under my “Contact Caitlin” tab, I will reach out to you! We will go over the basics of your wedding day plans, your desires in a wedding photographer, and how I can meet those desires. When you decide I am your match, we will meet in person for coffee or smoothies (or via FaceTime if distance/timing is an issue) to finalize things.

What is the pricing on your wedding collections?

Wedding day coverage starts at $1,720. I offer several wedding collections that include engagement and bridal sessions., photo booths, and wedding albums. I would love to go over all your options with you and customize the collection to fit you & your fiancé’s desires.

Is there a required deposit?

I do ask for 30% at signing. This 30% ensures that I am yours & yours only on your wedding day. From there, I require the remaining balance to be paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding day. It can be paid in increments until then or all at once. However suits your budget.

Could you help us print our portraits?

Yes! This is one of the best parts of my job. I love going through the completed and edited collections with my clients and meeting their dreams by picking out their favorite portraits and turning them into art. Bridal portraits and family heirlooms are some of the sweetest. To be honest, all portraits are my favorite. I can’t pick just one!

Do you give me all the photographs from our session or wedding?

I do not provide you all photographs (edited or unedited). There are many many reasons why not, but I will name a couple for you. At the end of a wedding day, I typically have 3,000+ photographs between my second shooter & I. There are always duplicates, some that are blurry, and some with exposure issues. Plus, 3,000+ photographs is rather overwhelming. Let me do the work for you, and I promise I will include all the good stuff-even the fun bloopers!

Do you give out digital images?

Weddings: yes. You will receive your digital copies of your photographs wrapped in an elegant keepsake style box.

Portrait sessions: I will sit down with you around 2 weeks after to review your beautiful completed images or send them to you online. From there, you may decide if you would like to purchase the rights to the photographs (digital files) OR if you would like to purchase works of art (i.e. gallery wraps, deep matte portraits, memory boxes, albums, etc) through me. If you purchase any of the prints directly through me, you will get web size digital images for social media use.
